MODEL for Genocide of Beauty (SIGN UPS)

I'm not sure I'll even get any responses, but I can always try!

Well, here's the deal. The world today is all about thin, blonde, tall, perfection. I want to start up a sort of anti-beauty ideal thing, probably on myspace. Beautiful, strong, original people. Cause there are too many 14 year old girls and boys hiding who they are, and fighting who they are, to fit into an ideal nobody needs. It's going to be called Genocide of Beauty, and it will feature normal but beautiful (inside and out) people of all sizes, shapes, backgrounds, and ages. I'll expect you to take certain photos when needed (so you should have a camera of your own) and you need to be able to write about different subjects. There is no set number of winners. I'll take anyone I believe to be right for the site. Hopefully I can get some of you guys in on this.

Requirements
-Must have a camera available to you whenever needed. It must also take fairly high quality photos.
-Must be okay with having your name and photos up on the internet.
-Must be 14 or older.
-Must be able to meet photo/writing deadlines.
-Must have proper grammar and spelling.

The pictures you sign up with don't have to be anything specific, just you.
There will be different types of photos needed if you do end up being a model, though.

Why should you be chosen? I should be chosen because I'm "outside the norm" of what is considered "beautiful" in media today, and I think I'm damn sexy. :D I'm also quite competent as a writer. Besides that, I'm all-around awesome.

You don't have to have super fancy makeup or always wear makeup if it's not your thing. This is all about anti-beauty ideal.

Why should you be chosen? because although im not beautiful on the side, i think i have inner beauty and i fight against who i am every day because of stereotypical views on beauty..i think it's about time somebody changed the world's views of beauty

Why should you be chosen? Im not like the sterotypical models you would find on tv, or magazines, with their size 0 self, huge boobs, bright eyes, white teeth.. No, instead, i have big hips, curvy, not the prettiest of things. I enjoy photography, not as much as taking them, but more of editing them, making them b&w etc.. Plus, this would be great experience as i do want to study photography in art when the time comes. :)

I'm not really sure what the writing intales but i'm good at writing;
I got a GCSE pass grade of B and i'm now studying an A level course at college.
I also own my own beauty and fashion blog, wearestyle.co.uk so i have knowledge, understanding and experience of the fashion industry so this is quite suitable.
Also, inside beauty and the obsession with thin models within the modelling industry is something im passionate about rebelling against...
And plus, i have my own camera LMAO ;)

Why should you be chosen? I should be chosen because although I'm thin I'm tiny - 5'1" - and it's because I'm naturally that way, not because I feel like I have to fit a stereotype. I've also been told I have very unique features.
In addition, I am literate and able to write fairly well.

Why should you be chosen?
I've always wanted to be a role model for people becuase I know what it's like not to have anyone to look up to, to feel like you are alone, like no one out there could ever understand, or that no one is like you. I hated that feeling and even sometimes I experience it now, but I am strong and I fight through that feeling because I believe in myself. I want to help people believe in themselves just like everyone deserves. But I also want to do anything I possibly can to make sure that no one else ever has to feel those feelings or if they do feel that, I want them to know that someone is there for them, someone is there to hold them up, keep them going strong, and that someone does care. To inspire someone is an amazing thing, not for the person who inspired someone but for the someone who was inspired by the person.

Why should you be chosen? Because I think that I'm very different from the people who are steriotyped as "Normal". I don't wear makeup, I don't (and can't) wear fancy shoes (like high-heals) and i don't bathe in Abricrombie and Hollister clothing. (not saying it's bad, but I dont wear the same thing everyday)

This is a great idea! I'd signup, but I'm an old fart. :p I never went for the blonde/blue eyed thing.(except for my best friend.) I've always loved dreads, mohawks, ANYTHING truely unique. Also, lets not assume that EVERYONE who looks like that is TRYING too hard. Some people are naturally "mainstream" pretty. I think alot of people might think of me like that if they see me on a certain day. I have alot of different syles and moods though. :)

Why should you be chosen? I'm a natural woman; I don't wear make up and I never have; I wear what I want to, not what's in fashion, everything you see is me - i'm not hiding beneath the latest fashions or make up. When I was in school, I was always ridiculed for not "fitting in & wearing make up" yet total strangers come up to me and tell me what clear skin I have. I think it'd be nice to see women/girls out there who look beautiful without make up because there aren't many.

Why should you be chosen? I would like to think that with age brings some experiences
that others may not have had. Being a cosmetologist, I have had to deal with the beauty industy inside and out. I've had to lend my ear to many a person who hated the way they looked and yet to find out they only needed someone to tell them, they are beautiful they way they are without all of the hoopla the media feeds them.
I could go on and on lol....I'm here if you need me =P
