Ftp problem

Whenever I try and login to my site (using Smart FTP) this comes up
[10:29:45] An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
[10:29:45] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
[10:29:45] Server closed connection I don't know what's wrong, my sites not down or anything..

Can anyone help?

i only get that when my site is down or the password isn't correct.
try waiting for like 20 minutes

That happens to me when the internet connection is not that good or the pc hasn't fully connected to the internet... try checking your connection! lolz... hope this helps!

Thanks.. well it's been doing it since yesterday, disconnected from the internet and then reconnected, but it's still not working. Thing is my FTP is working for my other site, just not this one, which is weird because the site itself is still working.

Use Cute FTP... Smart FTP is crap compared to Cute FTP lol
So good that I bought it for $40 on their website!

It's probably something to do with Smart FTP if your sites server isn't down...

I've had that problem before. Try restarting your computer and go on you FTP program. It worked for me.

Were you connected to the internet? If not, then that's why. When using SmartFTP, you have to be connected to the internet at all times.
