Pattern overlay and Aqua effect?

I can't use pattern overlay and Lokas software - aqua effect at the same time, and that sucksss. i must be doing ti wrong because ive seen glitters with both on them. How do i do it?

ah?
first you should use the Lokas.
then you do right click and click blending option.
then choose pattern overlay and voila!

hmm it doesn't work for me. I do the Lokas aqua effect fine, bt then i do the pattern overlay and it loses the effect and it goes back to 2d. =[

I don't have PS, but try it this way if you can.
After using the Aqua effect, select the area you want the pattern overlay to be, and create a new layer. Fill that selection with the pattern, and then set the layer to overlay...see how that works for you

hmm it sort of works, it just makes the fill transparent and the two colours mix together =[.

aww that sucks..when I do pattern overlays, I usually use one that has a transparent background, and the patterns color is usually black..maybe that is why it's not working the way you want it to?

the pattern i really want to use is an orange stripey pattern. this sucksss.. ive seen other people do it so there must be a way. thanks for trying. anyone else?

In the pic, it always shows me a preview on the actual text of what it looks like, but when i have aqua, it doesnt show up, even when i press ok. its like aqua rules out everything else if you know what i mean :S.

ohhhh...ok, there is a checkbox under the bevel width, make sure it isn't checked..
I use Gimp, and have a plugin that allows me to use PS plugins, but for some reason, Lokas does not save the changes for me when I hit ok, so I have to make a screenshot and cut out the surrounding background..but I think that could be your problem, is the color overlay

Colour overlay is not checked, i always make sure when i make glitters anyway. =[ i wonder what the problem is?

do you have the full version or the trial version?

i also have Eye candy but i don't know what settings look good so i don't use it. its too complicated XD.

well, if you paid for it, then you have full version, if you didn't, you have the trial version..I have eyecandy4 and I use it more often since Lokas doesn't work well for me.

Check your PMs in like, 1 minute :D
