Yes, but see how you did with the stars? theres like a line across them? maybe do that with the layout? and maybe stick to like 3 colors?

a lil more erm....glossy :) . I notice a lot of proffesional looking layouts and light effects and glossy effects. Right now it looks bland, could be the colors you used also.

And Kelli, you're looking for a glossy effect also. Look up Windows Vista buttons tutorials and they will show you how to make lines across things like that. Here is a good tutorial:
