how do i copy and paste images into photoshop?

what do you mean like an image from outside PS that would like to paste it in PS?
if yes, then just take a acreenshot .. open PS make a new document, it will automatically be the size of your screenshot .. then go to EDIT >> PASTE

you have to make a new image before you can paste. also if you already have an image open in ps and you want to paste a different one, you'll have to make another new image or it'll paste it as a new layer.

You need to copy the image. Make a new image in Photoshop. Then press CTRL+V. you dont need to change the height and width. :)

you don't need to open. as long as you make a new file you can paste it
