I've been looking around, trying to figure out how this "points" system works. I'm guessing there's one place you can find information about them, but I really can't find it. I'm so confused :) How do they work?

As Tiara said, points are like money. You can buy and sell things with it.
Everytime You post, You earn points (the amount of points You receive per post depends on the subforum).
If You want to send points to a member, use the "Donate" link (You can find it in each member's profile or below their username in posts):

You can also go to vbPlaza > Donate (http://www.kawaiiville.com/forums/vbplaza.php?do=item&name=donate) and complete the fields.

As You can see, I marked the bank in the image above. The bank works like a real bank, too :p
You put your points there and depending on the amount, You receive interests periodically.
But, as in real life, if You want to use the points, You have to withdraw the points from the bank before doing the transaction.

Remember that points are not only useful to sell and buy graphics. You can buy vbplaza gifts, ribbons to support a cause, decoration for your username and usertitle, forum's options. And You can also play the lottery.
