First off, let me apologise [once again >__<] for making you wait sooooo long. 44 days this time - yikes! So sorry, and I hope you all haven't got bored of waiting and scurried off =))


About Round 5

Well as you know, in Round 4 we were on the fence of breaking up, but we decided to stay together (some of you anyway!). We've decided to renew our vows with a second marriage. By now, we have 3 kids (2 daughters and 1 son) I want you to pick out our outfits. The Bride, The Groom, The 2 Bridesmaids (whether they're the same or slightly different) and The Page Boy. All you have to do is get some images that will be our outfits. You can put them in one big image or keep them separate. Make sure you have the following;

Groom

- suit jacket and trousers
- shirt
- tie
- shoes
- hair style
- accessories (jewellery, flower, belt, hat)

Bride

- dress
- shoes
- hair style
- accessories (jewellery, flower, hair accessories)

2 Bridesmaids

- dress
- shoes
- accessories (jewellery, flower, hair accessories)

Page Boy

Some people in this contest have literally been carried to this round and have only completed one round. Therefore, and also seeing as there's only a couple of rounds left, I will no longer be giving out immunities as prizes, or for people who are away etc.

Judging

This is how this round will be judged.

20% will be based on the time you send your entry in - I like someone who's prompt!

16 November = 20/20 points
17 November = 19/20 points
18 November = 18/20 points

25% will be based on the Groom's outfit

25% will be based on the Bride's outfit

15% will be based on the Bridesmaid's outfit

15% will be based on the Page Boy's outfit

Prizes

Round 5 Prizes

1st Place - 600 points each
2nd Place - 300 points each
3rd Place - 150 points each
4th Place - 75 points each

The prizes after this round will get much better!

1st Place - a .net/.com/.org/.info/.biz/.ws/.us/.cn domain registered for 1 year, 10,000 points, 100 custom glitters, 5 signatures

Im confused as to how it would work... Because wouldn't we have to make two seperate invitations, since there would be two weddings? And if someone doesn't have a graphics program, its not entirly fair to the other person as they would have to make the entire thing. :/

may i ask, what is a page boy?

so it can be images from the net right? like let's say 4 or 5 images total for the groom alone...to cover all those clothing/accessory requirements right? and so on and so on?

the page boy is a young boy (probably under 12) who carries the rings

EDIT:/ alot of people don't understand so..

You simply have to find some images off of the internet, PM them to me specifying which part of the image is for what etc.

I have a little problem - I can't possibly do this because I don't know ANYTHING about Christian marriages, the clothes, what Page Boy and Bridesmaid mean, so what should I do?

If you want me to explain more, just send a message my why on YIM ^_^

It's pretty simple. Just google search "Wedding Gowns" or "Wedding dresses" and something should come up. Same with the man's clothes. "Wedding suit" should work. The page boy is the ring carrier. In christian marriages the groom and the bride have rings. Sometime during the ceremony thing the priest will be like "May I have the ring(s)?" and the page boy walks up to the couple with rings on a pillow or cloth. One is for the bride and the other is the grooms. They mostly just wear some suit.
Bridesmaids are women chosen by the bride who attend/help the bride before, after, or during the wedding. There can be multiple bridesmaids. The main bridesmaid would be the maid of honor. Bridesmaids and maids of honor are usualy the bride's close friends and family/sister. All of the dresses/outfits of the maids are usualy the same.
The maids' dresses shouldn't be so extravagant that they're better than the wedding gown, though. They're usualy like...a high class/first class prom dress.
Also remember christian weddings are bit 'conservative'. Like if you really really wanna go traditional or not to flare-y, don't wear a dress that shows too much skin. (like 5 slits/openings in certain places.)

Also, in a christian wedding the dress is usualy white because the bride is supposed to be "pure", more or less, a virgin. Most brides wear white anyways because it's 'traditional', though I think some are unsure about what it truly stood for x3. But you don't have to make yours white- it can be pretty much any color you want to.


Buttttt I don't think yours HAS to be the usual 'christian'/church wedding. Or you can give the outfits a twist.(use the traditional outfits hindu/whatever your religion/culture has.) Meh, I'm pretty sure Daveo won't mind if it's a hindu wedding x] Will you Daveo? L-)

Hey Daveo,

Sorry to have to say, I think I'll have to drop out. I've had terrible computer troubles, I had completed this however my internet had failed. Then when I tried to load my laptop next it has burnt out and I wont have a computer until between the 10th and 15th. I'm on my friends at the moment, and she has literally nothing. Sorry.

It was fun while it lasted :(
