Div Layout Contest [$ or Pts]

This is a contest for a div layout. It's for an education (school help) related site. I really prefer to make my own layouts, but I wanna get this site up before September and don't have a lot of motivation for the layout so I figure why not run a contest. :]

Rules:
-Made by you
-Credit the resources you use
-Width: no bigger than 800px
-Height: no bigger than 200px EDIT: Okay I'm gonna be flexible with the height. basically I don't want the banner to be too large so it's covering most of the screen so just use your best judgement
-Must say "Education Heaven" on it (You can add a subtext if you like)
-Must provide matching backgrounds
-Coding and matching CSS is optional (greater prizes if those are provided)
-It would be great if you're flexible with editng stuff if you're chosen as the winner
-You can enter up to two entries

-Must have a school theme
(i.e. the banner can be designed to be a chalkboard, a notebook, etc.; you guys can use these ideas; also I pixelled this pencil to use for a layout I was gonna make orginally so if anyone wants to use it in their layout ((you can edit the colour)), they can www.rexangel.com/Pencil.psp)

-Must be able to make matching banners IF you're chosen.
(i.e. see how http://www.makerheaven.com/ has all those side banners? I'd need matching banners like that for the site. I'd give you details for that once chosen).

Prizes:
Winner gets...
$10 (via PP) or 25 000 points (lay banner + backgrounds + matching banners + coding + css)
$7 (via PP) or 20 000 points (lay banner + backgrounds + matching banners + coding)
$5 (via PP) or 15 000 points (lay banner + backgrounds + matching banners)

If I really like more than one layout, I'd be willing to choose more than one winner. And btw, winner will of course be credited on the site's Credits page.

Just wondering, but are you looking for a more cute layout or something professional looking? Is the site you're making a business kind of thing?

It doesn't matter too much to me. I'm targetting young people, mainly high schoolers, so nothing too professional. As long as it has a school theme, I don't care either way.

Okays so the end date is August 17th/07 but I'm wondering if there's gonna be enough entries by then. I can extend it to the 20th right now and see how many entries I have by then. I just wanna open by Sept. so I'd like the layout asap cos I'm stupid and won't work on content til I have the layout set up.

Okays! Firstly I wanna thank everyone for entering, following the rules, and taking the time to make the layouts. They were all really great and picking isn't easy. I've decided to choose two winners. Congrats to Giselle & Janice. I couldn't decide between the two since they were similar themes but done in completely different styles. I love the illustration on Giselle's layout and I love the professional simplicity of Janice's layout. Congrats again guys. I'll msg you guys on YIM to talk about your prizes and the layout.
