View Full Version : Not sure if it's my FTP or my site..

I've been trying to upload things to my website, and everytime I upload something, it deletes itself right away.
I had a couple pages uploaded about a month or two ago, but it never showed them. It would say "Page cannot be found" even when it said on my FTP program that they were uploaded to my site. I've tried using SmartFTP and one other FTP program, and neither of them will work.
It's a domain, by the way. So do I have to use cPanel? Or can I still use FTP?

I'm with activewebhosting.com and in the FAQs, it has an FTP topic, but no cPanel topic. So I guess I have to use FTP with my domain. I also contacted them, currently waiting for a reply.

I had the same problem with SmartFTP. Most of my pages didn't even upload to it. I use a different ftp program like CuteFTP or mozilla fireftp

It's definitely not the FTP program. I've tried SmartFTP, CoreFTP, and now LeechFTP. It has to be my website.

It used to work perfectly for me, but not anymore. And I don't have a WWW folder. Just a folder called Logs.

Have you exceeded the space on your site? As in have you used up all of your space?
