FTP is File Transfer Protocol
its a program used to transfer files to the internet

FTP doesn't host or give you a free .com (its use to upload your files to your .com or website)

I love ftp. With it, you don't have to log in to your control panel to update your site...for some things you might have to. But for the most part, all you need is FTP.
