Hey, ya'll.
I'm not very good at writing these "about you/introduction things" but my friend Taylor really wanted me to, so here goes....
I guess we'll start with the boring basics =)
My name is Ming-Ming, but you can call me Ming... it's one of those weird Chinese names, haha. I'm born and raised in Canada. I'm 19.... in university (blech) studying English and Anthropology.
I love writing.
I'm graphics-impaired (which is kind of like "why are you here?" but Taylor told me to join, haha)
I started up an online magazine, MESHED... Taylor made me the website <3
I like sushi.
I live off of music... quite literally. I'm a classically trained violinist... playing for like 11 years, and clarinet...ist? I'm also trying to teach myself guitar, but I'm failing, haha!
I listen to a huge variety of music... mostly indie pop-rock, a lot of rock, and some weird alternative sounds... Favs of the moment being: The Bravery, Phantom Planet, Belle & Sebastian, The Mission District, The New Cities, and like thousands more.
I own two birds - a Quaker parrot and a lovebird.
And I love playing video games! Haha...
That's pretty much me.
Oh, that and I am completely lovesick over a guy... an odd thing to throw in but I pretty much talk/think about him every second of the day (ask Taylor =p)
