Review my generator site please?

Hi all,
I would like if people could give me some comments on my generator site?

I have had it up for a while but only recently added more fonts and stuff.
So would like to know what fonts/colors people like.. am I missing out on some styles ?

Also I'm thinking about adding a grey border option around the text, like you might see in glitter comments. But I'm not sure about this...

I'm sure many of you will know this blending problem from designing graphics, when you have a web page with a light background, and the edges around something are black... so if you just make an image and get the code, you might get something like this -

..where maybe if I pick the right background color, I can make it blend like..

...although it's kind of too much trouble for people to go looking for the right background color to do this lol...

Hm .. I think the way you have those styles of fonts are fab ..
the only thing is .. it takes too long time to load the generated font ( 3 mins pass and it's not yet done )
and i don really know which font name will generate which font . ( maybe you can improve on that (: )

Ohh 3 minutes is very long... but yes, some of the .gifs can be very big, over 200k.
Still I think they should be faster, they usually take less than a second to generate so most of the time is downloading.

The font names are the same as the "sample" graphics on the page... so you can just click on the graphic to select that font... But you're right, maybe I need to make this more obvious.

To be honest, I find the site disorganized at first glance. There's all this text scattered around everywhere. I think the examples are great, but can be presented in a more organized way. I just realized the examples are previews of the "style". That was never obvious to me so maybe work on making that more obvious? The text generated quick for me. Overall I think the idea is good, but just the site could use better organization.

Thanks for your comments Rin and RexAngel, they are very helpful.

When you are working on something yourself it's seems obvious to you what to do, but I had still not given enough attention to the need to step back and look at it from the user's perspective always.

Re: The examples being disorganized, yep this was sort of on purpose. The fonts are the "content" so the idea was to present them as one of the first things you see on the page, a bit like a tag-cloud style which you might see on other sites.

I will probably try to make the samples less randomly placed on the next site, but will definitely try to make the connection between the styles and samples clearer at least, thanks!
