If I uninstall smartFTP

will it delete all my files? yeah, I got the smartFTP error-box of doom aswell. I've already downloaded a different FTP client and I'm ready to use it, but I don't want to delete smartFTP until I know it won't delete all my files I've uploaded on it. Cana nyone help? :/

Well, I deleted SmartFTP from my computer and downloaded CoreFTP and it still works. I don't think the program you upload them to matters. When you upload files, (at least with me) you upload them to your site so it stays no matter what program you use.

Umm, now I can't update my site. :/ Help please? I got rid of SmartFTP, and got AllFTP, but now I don't know how to use AllFTP and I can't update my site. D: D: D: I don't know what to do!

ur files are safe, they cant delete your stuff its already on the web

I have never used that one either. SmartFTP messed up on me so I tried CoreFTP. That is the only one I have ever used.

ive always use ws_ftp. so ive nbever heard of that one before, u might want to try something else

Same. It worked for 2 months then went sh!t. And so I use CoreFTP. But I love Smart FTP. And now I can't find a place to get the unregistered version anymore. :( And CoreFTP is sh!t compairds to SmartFTP. :(

okay, problem solved. I've figured out AlFTP. (it's from Altools.net, btw, a trusted site.) Thanks for your help guys. :) A mod can close this now.
