Okay, so I want to host a friend and i've set up their address [www.theirsite.mysite.net] and the URL works fine, but when they add pages and you go to them, they don't work :\
So, like, www.theirsite.mysite.net/aboutme.php won't work, if you catch my drift?
Any help appreciated =)
Thanks guys :)
Rebecca!

What's the URL if you don't mind me asking. I may be able to see the probolem from there?

I'm the one she's hosting & yeah my website is kind of a secret right now :p
Fairy made my subdomain, FTP, etc. right.. my URL works like this: www.namehere.angelrock.net, but my pages don't work. I've uploaded them all the right way and yeah, my pages just won't work :/ www.namehere.angelrock.net/aboutowner.php won't work & the rest of my pages won't either.

does it work if you rearrange the url like this:
www.angelrock.net/namehere/aboutowner.php?
does it work if you rearrange the url like this:
www.angelrock.net/namehere/aboutowner.php?
I don't think that's much of a difference.
Fairy did you set up the subdomain using cPanel? Did you set up a ftp account? check those! ;)

lifeless: Nope, that still doesn't work :p

Maybe it's something wrong with the coding?

What about the file formats for the pages?
Natasha.

All of that is correct, trust me, I tried it on my other website :) The file extensions are .php.
It says this on the index page:
Permanent address access to this website will be available once all DNS servers update themselves in the next few days.
I've never seen a host do this when you have paid hosting, but we'll see :/ I'm guessing it will work by Friday? It's been two days now!

I know that this is really old, but maybe the path directory was different [the path directory for the ftp and subdomain].
And again, sorry for bringing up an old thread.
