I'm so fed up with unreliable hosts with so much downtime and no support so I'm having a fresh start, with a new domain.
My new site is going to be a myspace/resources/downloads site, so I need a fair bit of space & bandwidth.
I'll need:
Cpanel & webmail.
Lots of space and bandwidth. Idk how much exactly but it needs to be a fair amount.
Around 10 databases for scripts and such.
Also 10 add-on domains.
5 subdomains, ftp accounts, email accounts etc
My budget is $15/yr.....I could push it $20/yr but I'll have to ask my mum if she's alright with me spending that much. I'd also prefer it if I could pay yearly, rather than monthly though.
And please have extremely minimal downtime/99.9% uptime and a money back guarantee incase I'm not happy with the hosting.
So, post your offers here, or pm me, or provide links to cheap hosting sites if you know any.
Thank you.

Well i've been searching for hosting too and i have found 3 sites that i think have the best offers:
http://www.3ix.com/web_hosting_uk.php
http://www.host-it-planet.com/features.htm
http://www.hastyhost.com/index.php
Even though i havent used any, they had been recomended on other forums, so they shuld be good, but have a read and see for yourself, good luck!

$15 dollars a year!? You aren't going to get what you want for that much and a reliable host. *rolls eyes*

^ Is $15 too less?
My old-old-old host hosted me for $15 for lots of space & bandwidth and she was reliable, no downtime at all ^^

My host is $60 a year or $6 a month for shared hosting. Honestly, if you want a reliable host, $15 a year is not enough.

Hmmm, ok, say if I wanted unlimited everything, and unmetered space & bandwidth, all that for $40/yr, does that sound decent?
I've just been offered it, thats why.

Hmm.. Honestly, the term unlimited is a lie. A host, especially a specific person, can't offer unlimited. Unmetered is one thing, but there's always got to be a limit.
If a person offered that to you, sounds like they just want to lure you in. It doesn't sound like a professional company. I think spending $40 on something that isn't for sure is kind of a big risk x)

Good point. I'll look around for more hosts, see what they offer, anyway ^^

You can always try the monthly thing. Spend like $5 a month for shared hosting and if you like it, stick with it and raise some money to pay for yearly hosting (which usually costs less in the long run :)).

There isn't really such thing as unlimited. The most reliable good host that has close to unlimited would be www.dreamhost.com.
You know, there are hosts out there who offer $18 for unlimited everything per year. -___- Don't go for that.
Also, read reviews of the host so you know how their support is like etc. :)

I always recommend Holdfire (http://holdfirebilling.com/aff.php?aff=035). They might be a little high for what you know, but they are very reliable. They offer a custom package. Plus I don't see the need for "unlimited" space. It's sad when a hosting company advertises unlimited space/bandwidth (http://www.jemjabella.co.uk/site5-sold-out).

I'm not looking for 'unlimited' bandwidth/transfer, I was just intrigued on how all the features and disk space with apparently no limit can be sold for as low as $40/yr.
I just don't know how much space I will need, as the downloads etc will take alot of bandwidth and I expect I'll need abit of space too.
I think I will check out the customisable plan at holdfire.net as many people are saying they're a reliable host.
Thanks for all your recommendations for sites, they're really helpful (:

Thanks for the link :)
Is it your site? And if so, whats the uptime?
Edit: Is anyone here hosted by retrohost.info? If so, are they a reliable host?

I think going with Holdfire (http://holdfirebilling.com/aff.php?aff=035) is your best option. Either them or site5, but site5 is expensive.
P.S. If you sign up for Holdfire, please use the link there. :D

Three-wishes is hosted by HostnSurf.
Retro Host is also hosted on HostnSurf. Their site is quite new so I won't trust them. It is only 1 Months, 9 days old. Before you consider any hosts, please check out the thread below.
Check out the recommend/not recommended hosts thread (http://www.kawaiiville.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115760).

^ Thanks for warning me! I very nearly went with retrohost.info until I realised they're also hosted by HostnSurf, so thats a no-go area.
I think I'll go with holdfire, and if that doesn't work out, I'll probably try surpass as many people have said they're very reliable and you get more for your money.
Thanks everyone!

Thank you for recommending Host it planet.com,
just to let everyone know,
we once were coollinks and offered hosting , we sold coollinks to focus on a less time consuming entity, so we have always like hosting and thought we wanted to offer better hosting than we were getting, so now 2 years later we are Host it planet.com and are a real company our real business name is cool deals 2 go. We are registered and are located in the usa and are members of the BBB and have had no legal or customer complaints. yes our plans are low priced But our hosting is what we are perfecting, we offer no downtime and offer alot more than our site shows., so everyone please do your homework as we had to learn from our mistakes and have finally been growing at a good rate and we will be here for a long time.
Thank you
The owner.
p.s.
we try to limit the amount of people we put on our servers as we believe in top quality!
