What do co-workers and Staff do?

A friend wants to know exactly what they do for websites. I can't really give her a good explanation.. so I was just wondering if someone could give me a good one? Like, say you are the person who made the site, then you want to hire Staff and a co-worker, and like, what they are supposed to do, and who you give the pass word too, ext.

If a person that would like to co-own a site with a trustworthy person, they help you make graphics, glitters, layouts for the site, ect. Like say you hire three people for Staff for your site and each person is given a position of like say, one person can be the layout maker. The second person can be a glitter/graphic maker and the third person can be updating the site regularly of new stuff for the site or each person can do the same stuff for your site.

IMO:

Co-worker is the person whom you trust to help you keep your site running and updated. Its much better if you hire a friend to be a co-worker, so you would know that your site won't go to nothing. Co worker has pretty much high access to your website. Its like, the second you. :)

Staffs are the people who simply makes graphics for you. They do keep your site updated but not as much as the co-worker. Staffs have only few jobs.
