Wordpress Pages

Kay so for my site, i'm going to be putting all the pages as wordpress pages. The theme I'm using is a free one from divergente.org

In the coding, it has the code to show the number of words/categories, and I want that on the actual blog posts, but I don't want it to show up on the pages.
How can I make it so it shows up on just the blogs, not the pages?

And also, I don't want comments on the pages, and I know how to turn them off, but I don't want the message at the bottom saying 'Comments Turned Off' or whatever. Is there a way to get rid of that?

Which site are you referring to? http://quotetastic.net? The layout shows up as a blue layout lol.

Well, in the theme, is there a page.php? I'm guessing you're on a about a plug in, right?
So just have the plug-in on the index.php, not on the page.php.

I don't know if it's a plug in, the code just came on the index.php in the .zip.
There is no page.php :/
