How to Make VIDEO Avatars?

Anyone can tell me which software can be used to make Video avatars?
I need it so bad :D

windows movie maker (capture screens) and photoshop.

To start it, try downloading a music video. You'll need to use a movie maker to select the frames you want to use and save those frames as a new file (.avi? I think). Then open the frames in Animation Shop or ImageReady and resize & crop the frames.

I made one a few years ago and it took me ages. -_-;;
