I know photoshop 7 isn't update but i really would not wanna have photoshop cs2 or 3 cause of image ready.

anyway.

I need to know how to

boarder a text
use custom brushes - install brushes
add a boarder to an image
make glitters on photoshop 7

& all those :]

& would you say that photoshop is better then paintshop pro ?

You can still follow tutorials for CS2/CS3 as the basic usage isn't too different from Photoshop 7.
The only difference with what you're doing, is when you want to animate the glitters - instead of using the animation window in CS2/CS3, you have to switch to ImageReady and animate there.

And yes, I would say Photoshop is better than Paintshop Pro...by a lot. :)

Photoshop 7 & Photoshop CS2 aren't that much different from each other, all the basic tools are the same so even cs2 tutorials would work =] And if you want to make glitters, you need imageready to animate them, its much easier because photoshop and imageready can work together very nicely - makes everything easier.

Bordering Text - write some text, right-click on the layer and click on Blending Options. On the left hand side of the new window tha pops up, select the 'Stroke' box and set your colours for the border.

Installing Brushes - open up the brush, go to Edit > Define Brush. Give your brush a name and its installed.

Using Custom Brushes - Just select your paintbrush tool (B) and choose the brush from the dropdown list on the top toolbar!

Glitters - You'll need imageready for this. I wrote a quick tutorial on makign glitters here:

You could always google for tutorials ^^
