Outline

My PSP8 doesen't seem to be giving my text a outline :(
Any ideas how to fix this? :)

Try going to Selections > Hide Marquee.

EDIT: Or do you mean like a different colour border on the text, not the dotted ant things?

Yeah, a border round the text such as white in size black on the edges?

If you mean a different colored outline when you type your text.. Check your "stroke width" and make sure its not set to 0.0

Here's another way to outline text:

Make a new canvas, big enough for your text. Make it the colour you want the border to be. Paste the text (as a new selection) and go to Selections > Modify > Expand and type in how many pixels you want the border to be.

Try making a new image with a black background, then add white text and go to selections > modify > expand.
