Glittering

Hi Everybody i just want some help from great glitter designers i see here on the forums. I just need some tips and advice for making nice glitters,mine look so simple so normal. i need to learn great techniques for coloring the text - using the fonts and filling it in.
FONTS
Can somebody help me telling me what fonts are best to use for glitters? I have valentine - yikes - yelly and some other bold ones but wich ones do you use?
TEXT EFFECT
I use lokas demo but how can i achieve nice effects like aqua ones you all use?
BACKGROUND
I see many people use a light layer with stripes backgrounds where can i find them and what layer(multiply - screen - soft) do you use? And opacity?

Please need as much help and tips i can get would be very HAPPY to get some advice here ! .dance.

Do you mean the glittery background behind the glitter or a pattern (stripes, stars, dots) ON the actual glitter? For the background you can go here http://www.slushh.com/othergoodies/glitterfills/background/page1.php and for the patterns try this http://aerocharm.com/content/patterns.php or http://angelkizz.net (scroll down to 'For Your Site' and 'Photoshop Patterns')
The settings for the patterns are overlay, screen or soft light. It always depends on the pattern.

And for nice colors go here http://www.colorcombos.com/ and pick the colors you like. =)

and where do all the designers get there images like the hearts - flowers - cartoons - ... if i go to the credits i can not found where they get them?

Do you mean dingbat fonts? You can find plenty over at dafont.com :)

yeah dafont or you can google dingbats =]

But clipart isn't supposed to be used for glitters which are redistributed or sold...

The fonts depend on what type of glitter it is. But try not to use curly ones, because sometimes they may be hard to read >.>

How do people do those coloring of the text with two or more colors and have waves or something in it?
like many glitters here on the boards?
